So if you want the Great Pumpkin to bring you lots of treats this year, it's not to soon to start being very good.
My old iPod froze yesterday. I couldn't find a way of shutting it off or rebooting it--not even my threat to drop it into an elevator-music machine had any effect. So I left it on my desk overnight, and put a small, plastic frog on top of it.
I don't know what the frog did to it, but today it's working fine. So, if you're having trouble with your old iPod, this is what I recommend--leave it on your desk overnight, and place a small, plastic frog on top of it.
If this doesn't work, it's probably because you used the wrong kind of frog. Or you're holding it the wrong way.

And now for something completely different:a steam-powered tank that would serve as a nice conversation piece on your dining room table. This one comes from the Made in England by Gentlemen blog, which includes some details, and other interesting items. The blogger is togged out in Neanderthal attire, as befitting a gentleman of the highest distinction, so I presume his title predates those pesky Saxon invaders.
Correction: the blogger's attire changes with each new glimpse of his site, so he could be up to something. Only the Shadow knows!
It's time to stock up on Halloween candy. Remember to test it before handing it out to any little goblins and fiends who knock on your door. You'll be doing them a favor if you eat anything that's not quite fresh or of the highest quality.
