Always make sure your elephant is secure and happy before boarding a train.
I drew the train station in the second panel based on photographs of a plastic Revell small-town station kit that came out in 1958 or so. I built the model when I was a kid and placed it on my small HO railroad, but it vanished a long time ago, along with the railroad, consumed by the great toy- and model-swallowing black hole that gobbles up so much of the past.
Somewhere, among Plato's eternal forms, is a cheery little plastic model of a small-town railroad station.
Here's something old-fashioned that's still around--a chocolate wafer, with a photo and recipe from Linda Larsen.
Here, from Rusch, is one of the largest high-reach demolition machines in the world, reaching a height of 295 feet. The boom weighs nearly 70 tonnes.
And here, from shizuorkagourmet, are some cooked rutabagas.
Variety is life.
No worries.
