And here is a Bennet buggy, courtesy of Wikipedia. In the United States, these were known as a Hoover wagons. During the Depression era, poverty-stricken farmers who could no longer afford gas for their cars, would strip out the engine and windows and use their cars as horse-drawn carriages.
Not that history ever repeats itself, but there's always a first time....
