Model Railroader's Mom Wants Grandchildren

Model railroaders can solve a lot of tricky problems.

Valentine's day is nearly upon us, so here are some chocolate Easter bunnies from Lindt. If you purchase chocolate bunnies early, then you'll be sure to have them on time for the occasion, unless you eat them, in which case, you'll have to buy some more.

If you're stuck for what to do on Valentine's day, here are some ideas from Martha Stewart involving chocolate.

And here are some chocolate tanks and soldiers from the Chocolate Vault.

Speaking of demolition, here are some more photographs from Delsan-AIM, featuring equipment and various projects the company has worked on. Here you'll find a brief discussion of some of the requirements of a demolition job, including a technical understanding of structural design, and worker health and safety.

It's a complicated business.

And now for something completely different: here is a collection of essays on the philosophy trickling out of the Monty Python sketches and movies. This is an important work.

No worries.

Swiss Army Sword

Heroes must make do with whatever weapons they can find.

This device is actually much more practical than the traditional Excalibur, King Arthur's accessory of choice, because it can open letters or cut through the ribbons and paper that stand between you and any gifts you might have received for Christmas or for your birthday, or just because you're a swell person.

Speaking of chocolate, here are some chocolate knights and dragons, in case you'd rather eat chocolate than go back in time to the smelly, dirty, blood-thirsty Middle Ages and fight dragons and disease.

And if you'd like to eat a chocolate pie, here's one from Wizard Recipes.

Now for something completely different.

Here, on the Priestly Demolition site, you will find all kinds of interesting information and pictures pertaining to demolition. A few years ago, this company had a contract to demolish a church on Yonge Street in Toronto--what could be more appropriate than a company named Priestly Demolition demolishing a church!

If you're interested in demolition shears, as I am, you'll find pictures and detailed diagrams of these fascinating devices on this site.

 Happy trails....
