Duck Crossing

We stop for ducks.

Here's a milk chocolate banana pudding with wafer crumbs from Melissa Clark, courtesy of the New York Times. I think this is one of the essential food ingredients that we all need in order to survive, although I could be wrong.

And here's a nice assortment of Demo-Grab demolition grapples from Batemen Manufacturing, with specs and good photographs. These grapples can be customized to fit your needs.

Renovations for a Vampire

A good contractor will give you precisely what you want.

While you're waiting for a complete renovation, you might want to take up temporary residence in one of the chocolate houses offered by Charlinda Belgian Chocolates. They come in milk, dark, and white chocolate. Of course, there's always the danger you might eat your chocolate house before your real house is ready....

Speaking of demolition, here is the Site-Pro series of grapples from ANBO Manufacturing. These devices feature AR 400 armor-plated steel for the tines, 3000 psi welded cylinders, and chrome rods.

No worries

Images from my Sketchbook

I used to work in pencil, but lately I've been doing most of my work in Adobe Illustrator.

The Curse of the Maladroit Penguin has ended, and a story will begin shortly.

Here, for a morning celebration, are some chocolate pancakes, with a picture and recipe, from Quick and Easy Chocolate Recipes. I certainly wouldn't complain if I had a plate of these in front of me!

If these aren't enough for you, here are some more chocolate waffles from Ptit Chef.

Frankenvine

If you go out into the garden today, you're sure of a big surprise....

I must be living in an alternate universe--I knew nothing about chocolate-covered bacon until my wife mentioned it to me, and I must confess, it's not on my list of the top ten things to try in the next few years or so. But obviously, lots of people enjoy this sort of treat--here's Mo's chocolate bacon bar, for instance, which has been made a favorite by thousands.

I still prefer things like chocolate cake, or chocolate malteds--here's a recipe for a double chocolate malted from Allison Ehri Kreitler, posted on the Fine Cooking site.

Meanwhile, if you're troubled with construction debris, wood waste, garbage debris, etc. from that big demolition project you've taken on here are some demolition grapples from NYE Manufacturing. And for those of you who'd like to know a little more about demolition grapples, there's a fine, informative image on this site, with every part clearly labelled. It's definitely worth a look.

No worries.

Shrubbery of Doom

Not everything in Mother Nature's garden is cute and adorable.

My wife mentioned something today that comes as a complete surprise to me--chocolate bacon cupcakes. Apparently this has been going on for some time--here's one recipe on the allrecipes.com site, posted by mkecupcake queen.

Bacon and chocolate!

Anyway, here's a nice selection of demolition grapples from D/S Manufacturing, which would look good on any demolition excavator. These will fit all makes and models of excavator, so...

Beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, and beer!

The gods have simple tastes.

You might prefer chocolate almond bark to beer and beans; here's a picture and recipe, from Homemade Holiday Gifts.

And here's a recipe for double chocolate brownies from Canadian Living.

When you've finished making and eating your chocolate, you might want to consider a set of demolition grapples from NYE.

This is a nicely designed site with some truly fine pictures, along with a detailed look at the components of a grapple.

It's Friday morning. Here, from Foodland Ontario, is an introduction to the rutabaga.

No worries.
