Illegal Music Downloads in the Stone Age

Can you separate the artist from the art? If you can't, then what is the artist without his or her art? And if artists are incomplete without their art, what were they before they became artists? Did they pour so much of themselves into their art that they no longer exist without it?

What about accountants? Can you separate them from their work? If accountants stop adding things up and then subtracting them, do they cease to exist?
