I never tried this; there weren't any witch doctors on my street when I was a kid.
Kids today are lucky--they get to be frightened by witches, trolls, wizards, dragons, ogres, orcs, gnomes, dwarves, vampires, werewolves, aliens, and elevator music.
When I was a kid, we had to make do with communists and atomic bombs.
Aliens were supposed to be scary too, but I wanted to meet one--they were big and slimy, with lots of tentacles--what's not to like!
For those of you who would rather look after children than frighten them with chimeras, here's a site that will help you get started setting up a day care centre. (A pox on spellcheck! I WILL spell 'centre' the way I always spelled it, in its original, pristine form, with an 're' at the end.)
Anyway, where was I--ah yes, you will notice on this site, pictures of Swiss Miss Individual Chocolate Puddings, which is what attracted my eye in the first place.
Chocolate puddings would be an excellent way to comfort any of your daycare staff who have been frightened by the terrifying antics of today's little kids.
Here are some excellent pictures of steam locomotives operating in Paraguay, from farrail.net. Unfortunately, there are none available for adoption, as far as I know, but there is still time to visit Paraguay and hug one of them.
It's Monday. No rutabagas were harmed in the construction of this missive.
Jingle bells, jingle bells....
