Sailing Upstream on the Haggis Queen

Talented mad scientists can make anything at all out of things that other people would consider useless junk. All they need are a few simple tools, an atom smasher, and an optional rutabaga.

It's raining outside my window, so I'll look at this picture of a raspberry chocolate pie from tofufortwo.net. There's a recipe if you're interested.

And here, from Randy Schaetzl, Professor of Geography at Michigan State University, is a picture of a drainage ditch. You'll need one of these if it rains too much in your rutabaga fields.
