A magic spell is simply a formula for concentrating the mind, and what better formula than that old favorite, 'How much is that doggie in the window? The one with the waggely tail...etc.' Just reciting the words can invoke world peace, an end to poverty and hunger, universal harmony and...no...I'm afraid it doesn't work.
Here is a picture of a chocolate waffle, in case you want breakfast. And here is a picture of a chocolate eclair, in case you want to eat a chocolate eclair.
And here, from Wikimedia, is a picture of a large battering ram. Philosophers often resort to using battering rams when nobody agrees with them. They would probably be better off singing 'How much is that doggie in the window...' but few of them know the words, and anyway, philosophers aren't good at harmonizing--they're too busy explaining why their colleagues don't understand the concept of harmony, and why harmony doesn't exist anyway.
Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag, and tie your kangaroo down.
No worries.
