The gods are smiting me--renovations continue apace in the humble domicile, dollars are flitting away like Monarch butterflies in autumn, and other assorted things are happening. No worries!
Here is a recipe for a chocolate banana cake that includes a video. This looks good enough that I may actually have to learn how to make the thing. It was posted on the Joy of Baking site, which seems to be a gold mine of recipes, and is based on this book by Jane Rodmell:
