The Melodic Cry of the Lovelorn Haggis

If you go out into the woods today and hear this haunting cry, don't assume it's Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald.

Their version is 'When I'm calling you....'
Haggises are more decisive--"I am calling you" indicates a commanding, haggis-like presence.
"When" hints at a more tentative animal, perhaps a rutabaga.

Speaking of chocolate, here, from Cabosse Chocolates, is a white chocolate goose, which, apparently, is stuffed with other kinds of chocolate.

It's raining today. Tech support people are testing the fire alarms in our condo building--once every five minutes.
