Holiday Memories

It's not the destination that matters; it's the journey.

Here's an almond apricot Bundt cake from Canadian Living for anyone feeling the need for dessert.

And here's the SC series of light hydraulic breakers from Tramac, for anyone in the need of demolition equipment. These are designed to function as breakers, buckets, and compactors.

No worries.

Duckman

Evildoers beware!

Can't find the special duck that will give you super powers? Try this assortment of chocolate ducks from Neuhaus, available in milk and dark. They're made of Belgian chocolate, but they speak a language that everyone in the world understands--chocolate.

Another language everyone understands is demolition, although it's not normally associated with chocolate. Here are some hydraulic breakers from Furukawa for small jobs and work in tight spaces.

KF 1 and KF 2 can be attached to mini-excavators and compact utility loaders, and the KF 3 can be mounted on mini-excavators, compact utility loaders and many skid-steer loaders.

And here is a cabbage.

No worries.

Alien Invasion Foiled

Pride goeth before a fall, even when you're an alien with super powers.

You could start off the morning with this chocolate meringue pie from Mennonite Girls can Cook, although I suppose you'd be better off waiting until noon or later, from the point of view of your health, and surviving into next week. For some reason, pies like this are not generally considered breakfast food, although it may just be a question of definition.

Which brings us to the topic of demolition, what it is, how it's done, and what magnificent machines are employed in the profession.

You could start with the Worksite Pro line of hydraulic breakers from John Deere, ranging from 150 to 1000 lb-ft of energy per blow. These would be enough to make anyone's day.

No worries.

Viking Raiders at Home

Never set out on a raid after a big night at the mead hall.

Having survived the flu, I'm checking out chocolate pancakes, like these Stardust chocolate pancakes, posted on  food.com by Sharon123.

For those of you with some hard demolition work awaiting your deft hand, here is the Kent  KF 100QT hydraulic breaker from Furukawa, formerly Kent Demolition Tools.

And here are some roasted rutabagas and carrots, posted on Straight from the Farm.

No worries.
